Beneficiaries

We engage and benefit a diverse group of people in our work, consisting of youths, women, young mothers, PWDs, disaster affected persons

At YAGANET, we engage and benefit a diverse group of people in our work, consisting of young persons between 14 and 17 years, youths and young mothers who include farmers, persons with disabilities, and disaster-affected individuals aged between 18 and 35 years.

Linking Programs to our beneficiaries!

These groups benefit from the organization’s Climate Justice Agribusiness and Response to Climate Change (CJAR) program, which is pivotal in advancing climate justice, addressing the root causes of global warming, supporting vulnerable communities, and providing emergency response. We ensure that beneficiaries most affected by climate change are empowered and supported to be resilient during and after disasters.

YAGANET contributes to ending gender-based violence induced by climate change effects at the household level by enhancing young women and youth’s access to financial services and education. Recognizing the complex interplay between climate change, gender dynamics, and financial inclusion, and bridging gender disparities in financial access by enhancing resilience and sustainable development among people we serve.

Our community led advocacy efforts on Inclusive Nutrition security, and access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services, addresses the direct impact of climate change on our beneficiary’s food security, nutrition, and WASH practices. We reduce the adverse effects of climate change on these essential aspects of life.

Our mentorship and Green Innovation Skills Development (MLD) program, offers young people and women a chance to be economically creative and resilient in a world influenced by climate change. They are equipped with marketable green skills and empowered to compete for opportunities and navigate life successfully.
