Unlike most of the other races, Humans are both organized into cities, states, and countries. Within each is an organized, hierarchal, structured environment where each person falls into a clear place. The "Kingdom" of Torodan is perhaps the best example of this, with a complex web of Guilds and Church authority forming the political structure of the country.

Even in other countries, Humans form chains of command for everything from military matters, to business, to households. Although not as structured as the guilds of Torodan, particularly in the civil war ravaged western territories, rank controls much of daily life.

Humans are found in virtually every walk of life, and are found to worship every diety. Although outright worship of the evil gods is illegal in most areas and frowned upon in most others, much goes on behind closed doors. Followers of Mordekai, Eraen and Garguth are uncommon, but this is more from practical reasons than stigmatism - Few are comfortable with the thought of Mordekai even among the evil, the city-dwelling Humans have little enough use for Eraen, and Garguth represents a side of life that few want to consider. Even then, they still have followers, it's just fewer than the other religions. Veil in particular has gained a foothold across Torodan, including several positions within the Guilds and even the High Church itself.

Although they have no significant advantages, they also have no significant disadvantages either. Humans can be found among every class and walk of life, and gain no skill bonuses or penalties.

Costuming/Makeup

Humans tend to dress practically for whatever purpose they are engaging in. Armor and traveling clothes are most common for adventurers, while those in other occupations tend to dress in more stereotypical clothing. Neither makeup nor prosthetics are required when playing a Human (unless the player themself is some form of alien!)
