Briefing Day: The period between Debriefings, usually 1800 to 1759 the next day

Concentrated Action: A Concentrated Action requires that the character use no other IP skills other than Gambler's Luck or Racial Abilities.

Focused Action: A Focused Action is identical to a Concentrated Action, except that the player may not move from their location either.

Guide: Staff member who guides players in their roleplay experience.

Implied Backstab: An Implied Backstab is a Backstab that is granted through some other means (usually through several purchases of the Weapon Mastery skill). It follows all rules for a normal Backstab, but does not count as a prerequisite for any other skills or spells that use Backstabs as a consideration.

Patron: Target designated by a Bard as an Ally. All Patrons are affected by "Allies"-designated Songs. A Character may willingly drop their Patron status, but must verbally declare it loud enough for the Bard to hear before taking effect.

Stacking: When two effects of similar type are present on the same target. Example: Towering Ego and Ego boost, which are both HP boosting skills are casted on Bob. In this and most cases, it is not allowed. However, if the Spell "Hyperacceleration" and the Bardic Song "Symphony of War" are both in effect, it is valid, as the song is only a temporary effect and would go away if the Bard stopped chanting.

Useless Item: A Useless Item is an item which may no longer be used in the manner it is designed for.
