Once found, Spellbook Pages contain any information required in order to cast a spell. An explaination of the contents of the Spellbook Pages follows. The spells "Minor Channeling" and "Undead Aura" are used as examples.

Name: Channeling: Minor

The spell's name provides useful information about the nature of the spell. Generally, Minor and Lesser spells provide limited "charges" of effects, a normal (no tag) spell produces a constant effect, Greater or Major spells enhance a spell while it's cast, and Superior spells are significantly improved versions of the standard spell.

Attunement: Enchantment

A spell's Attunement tells what kind of spell it is. Certain skills allow increased or decreased abilities in specific attunements.

Harmonics: 0
Psionics: 0
Projection: 0
General: 10

This refers to the number of tags of each type are required to cast the spell. Most spells require at least one tag in a specific discipline. General tags can come from any discipline. A rare few spells require tags in multiple disciplines. Note that in most cases, if a spell does not require any tags in a given discipline it will just be omitted entirely.

Discord: 0

This refers to the amount of discord energy that is added to the Caster(s) while casting the spell. Note that this amount is not "diluted" by having multiple Casters, all Casters take the full value of Discord points. If the value listed is "0", the entry is usually omitted.

Effect: Alter Aura: Undead

This is the actual final effect the ritual confers. All effects are listed in the "Magic Effects" section of the rulebook.

Duration: One Year

This is how long the Spell remains active on the target. If a spell effect runs out of "charges" or any other condition is met that dispels the object, the Spell is removed regardless of how long was left on the duration.

Recast: Instant

This refers to how much time must pass before the Spell can be attempted again. Recast times apply to both successes and failures. Note that in most cases a new set of components will have to be acquired before the spell may be attempted again, as they are usually consumed during the casting of the spell.

Casting Time: 15 minutes

This refers to how long the Caster must maintain the ritual for. In all cases the caster must spend at least the time alloted but no more than the time alloted. If somatic requirements are completed before the finishing time of the ritual, the caster must maintain the ritual until the Casting Time elapses.

Description:

This spell allows it's user to use a mystic power and use the target weapon as the carrier instead of a packet. All other rules apply as normal. This spell follows Lesser Magic removal rules.

This briefly explains the effect of the spell and possible removal methods, along with any other relevant information about the spell. In cases where the rulebook and the Spellbook Page give different information, the Spellbook Page is considered to have precedent.

Somatics:

This section details the exact somatic requirements for casting the Spell. All somatics must be followed or the ritual will Backlash. Once started, the Spell may not be stopped without a Backlash occurring.

Backlash:

While in possession of the Target Weapon mystic powers may not be used. This enchantment on the weapon lasts for one year.

If a Backlash occurs, a number of things can happen. If "Spell Specific Backlash" is rolled, the Backlash on the Spellbook Page is used.
