Technical production occurs during Debriefing. All characters with Technical Production skills are assumed to have a “Workbench”, where they have the appropriate tools for plying their trade. This is simply a clear space where they have their tools and materials stored. No physreps are required and the Workbench is unstealable. Occasionally, a character may also "wander off" to gain access to their Workbench at plot’s discretion. The cost to produce IG items at one’s workbench is 1 Green per tag used.

In addition to the character’s Workbench, there exist purchasable large-scale production facilities unique to each type of production. These facilities are not movable, and therefore are only usable at the beginning of an event at the first debriefing, or if the event is being held at the location where the facility resides. Such a facility requires at least 10’ x 10’ x 10’, and has a “Keycard” that is a stealable IP item. The benefits of using such a facility amount to the following: All tag costs are reduced by 1 tag per item. All Green costs are reduced to 1 Red per tag. Using a useless item of the appropriate type reduces tag cost by 1 tag. At no time may tag cost be reduced below one tag, however, if tag cost *would* have been reduced below 1 tag, then two items of the appropriate type are created as a result of the character's efforts.

Weapon Design: Gunshop
